What a difference a new school makes. Tonight Henry and I attended Eli's first high school band concert. Unlike the treacly concerts of elementary school and the less than stellar concerts in the gym of the middle school, we actually were treated to a concert in an auditorium with a stage, lights and sound system.
While these things help immeasurably, the talent of the older juniors and seniors made this concert ... actually enjoyable. Well, the concert band which Eli is in and any student wishing to be in the band can be
